Take A Longer Look - Stop SMIDSY Maurice Blackburn motorcycle awareness advertisement Published on Oct 23, 2012 by Maurice Blackburn 7,701 views 162 likes, 3 dislikes

In 84% of rider fatalities, where drivers turned into, or across, the path of the motorcycle -- the driver was at fault. Not the motorcyclist. Before you turn. Take a longer look. John Voyage Principal at Maurice Blackburn, says: "When it comes to

road safety it's not just down to motorcyclists, it's up to everyone. Contrary to what is often claimed, motorcyclists are not to blame for most serious collisions and we have the figures to back that up". Maurice Blackburn, through Lawyers4Riders, is proud to be supporting a growing campaign for change for riders, giving them a voice online and in social media, tackling legislative threats and producing compelling advertising and awareness campaigns.

What "they" need is to be supported by Victorian riders. All riders . Given Victoria's recent unprofessionalism in this area this is a breath of fresh air and personally I think way beyond and better than the gimmicky showy UK commercials.

cheers

Onya K8. This ad was done on an extremely small budget and except for the production costs, it was all done by volunteers.
