ABS

So, can we see the same test with a third braking style? That's the one where the rider applies his brake to suit the conditions....

Sort of agree , but the fact

Sort of agree , but the fact is most riders whack that brake on like theres no tommorrow. Also, it takes quite a bit of experience to master braking in all conditions. The question shouldn't be can experienced riders do just as well as ABS ( we know they can ). Its a case of the lowest and middle ground common denominator. I know riders now who have ridden for quite some time only ever on an ABS system. They will never acquire the skill to brake properly. I know a lot ( fluxers ) who can brake brilliantly.

Given however that so many of the Motorbike community cant brake , its better to have abs and save their lives I think.

Given also that that video is made by Insurance people I think we can all see its going to be cheaper if you have it.

Apart from all that my new bike has ABS and I find it fantastic to be honest. I know I always said proper Braking technique should be taught and practised, a skill to be prized and respected, but the truth is its not today. The beebuzzers have no idea . Of course I can always turn mine off.
